Sarah Demaré
Naturopathic Intern
Bio
Sarah Demaré is a final-year naturopathic medicine student completing her clinical training while seeing patients under the supervision of Dr. Hannah Webb. Sarah approaches healthcare with curiosity, compassion, and a relaxed and grounded presence. She values personalized medicine and works collaboratively with patients to create treatment plans that feel both effective and realistic. Her care is rooted in understanding the whole person, drawing from natural medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western medicine and mental-emotional perspectives to uncover the root of dysfunction and restore balance.
With formal training in neuroscience, Sarah places strong emphasis on nervous system regulation and its relationship to digestion, hormones, mood, sleep, pain, and overall vitality. She welcomes all patients and has a particular interest in: neurodegenerative disease, musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, insomnia, gut health concerns, menstrual irregularities and fertility support (including PCOS and endometriosis), mood disorders (including PMDD, depression, and anxiety), prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric care.
Sarah’s clinical approach includes comprehensive history-taking, physical examinations, orthopedic testing, and appropriate lab work. Her favorite therapeutic tools are personalized herbal medicine formulas and acupuncture. She also commonly incorporates supplements, intravenous therapy, nutrition, pharmaceuticals, homeopathy, lifestyle guidance, and physical medicine as needed.
Sarah enjoys playing volleyball, exploring nature, swimming in the ocean, and tending her garden, activities that reflect her belief in movement, connection, balance and joy as pillars of health.
