Bio
Sam grew up on Vancouver Island in the Comox Valley, and moved to Salt Spring Island in 2018. Growing up Sam attending the Salt Spring Island May Long Soccer tournament since they were 2 years old and Salt Spring has always had a place in their heart.
Sam is humbled and expresses deep gratitude in their connection with nature and to now call this place home. Sam has practiced as a registered nurse in various settings and is passionate about holistic, grounded, and integrative care for all. They bring joy and playfulness into their practice, while also meeting people where they are at.
Sam has recently completed training at Vancouver Island University in a Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Graduate Certificate program and also works with the non-profit Roots To Thrive as a casual RN. Sam identifies as a queer and neurodiverse human, enjoys ocean swims all year round, being in nature, playing soccer, and snuggling with their one eyed cat Stella.
