Angela Dione

Care Coordinator

Angela is a designer, woodworker, and mother with a deep commitment to community, connection and wellbeing.

She studied her MFA in Child Culture Design at Högskolan för Design och Konsthantverk in Gothenburg, Sweden, and completed her Master of Design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, where her research explored the liminal space of interbeing and connecting in a more-than-human world. Angela also trained in Fine Woodworking at the School of Fine Woodworking in Nelson, BC, and from this passion founded KINKIN — a child-centered woodworking and design studio rooted in empowerment through creativity, curiousity, and play.

Deeply passionate about community and self-growth, Angela strives to foster connection and is grateful to carry this dedication into her role as Care Coordinator at Madrona.
