Integrative Healing Guidance
Integrative Healing Guidance with Dr. Anne Marie Chomat MD, PhD, MPH
A space to step back, make sense of complex health experiences, and reconnect with the deeper patterns shaping your wellbeing. At its heart, it creates space to slow down, listen deeply, and understand how your body, life experiences, and environment interact to influence health.
This non-clinical service supports people navigating complex health concerns, chronic stress, burnout, life transitions, or a sense of feeling stuck or overwhelmed in their life or healing journey.
Sessions offer time, space, and thoughtful integration to help you understand your health more fully - across physical, emotional, relational, and life-history dimensions - in both times of illness and wellbeing.
The focus is on restoring coherence, clarity, and personal agency. Together, we explore patterns, deepen insight into how life experiences and stress interact with your body, and reconnect you with your own inner resources for healing, resilience, and vitality.
This work supports reconnection across several dimensions of wellbeing - including the body, life experience, personal agency, and our relationships with others and the living world.
Sessions are collaborative and reflective, and the process is deeply individualized, shaped by your unique life experience, needs, and worldview. You may also leave with practical tools or questions that support your ongoing healing process and conversations with your healthcare providers.
Please note that Anne Marie Chomat is a non-licensed physician and Integrative Healing Guidance does not involve medical diagnosis or treatment. While medical care can play an important role in healing, many people also benefit from space to reflect, integrate, and participate more actively in their healing journey. This work is designed to complement medical and counselling care, offering a broader perspective on health and wellbeing.

Approach
Rather than focusing only on isolated symptoms, this approach views health as a dynamic system shaped by biology, life experience, relationships, and environment.
Each session is individualized. Sessions may draw from a range of integrative perspectives to help you understand the deeper patterns shaping your health and wellbeing.
-
Exploring how symptoms, diagnoses, stress history, and life experiences connect over time.
-
Identifying themes that link physical symptoms, emotional experiences, life context, and underlying influences.
-
Understanding how chronic stress and trauma can influence both physical and emotional health.
-
Thoughtful, non-diagnostic review of past medical information to help clarify patterns and questions for your healthcare providers.
-
Supporting reconnection with your body and strengthening nervous system regulation.
-
Clarifying intentions, barriers, and next steps during life transitions, meaningful thresholds, or complex decisions.
-
Helping you identify questions and priorities for conversations with physicians or specialists.
-
Guided reflection, journaling, or symbolic inquiry that helps integrate life experiences and deepen insight.
-
Drawing on connection with the natural world to support grounding, perspective, and restoration.
-
Holding space for major life passages - illness, birth, loss, identity shifts, or turning points - as meaningful transitions that invite reflection, integration, and growth.
Sessions may include reflective exercises, somatic practices, or simple integration tools that support ongoing insight between visits.
This work draws on systems thinking, integrative health perspectives, coaching, and somatic awareness to support deeper understanding, renewed vitality, and greater agency in your healing journey.
The Process
Initial Session (90 minutes)
A comprehensive conversation exploring:
your health and life history
current concerns and symptoms
stress patterns and life context
underlying questions, longings, or areas of tension in your life
goals and intentions for your healing journey
If relevant, you may share prior lab results or medical reports for contextual review. These may be discussed from an integrative and educational perspective, but not for diagnostic or treatment purposes.
This first session helps begin identifying the larger patterns shaping your health and wellbeing, and clarify your intention.
follow up session (75-90 minutes)
Follow-up sessions build on the insights that emerge during the initial visit. They may focus on:
deepening pattern recognition
clarifying questions and next steps
understanding barriers that may be affecting wellbeing or vitality
supporting nervous system regulation
identifying supportive resources, practices, and perspectives
integrating insights into daily life and practical action
Sessions remain flexible and responsive to your needs, allowing space for reflection, integration, and ongoing exploration.
Over time, many people find that this process helps restore coherence across body, life experience, and inner direction - allowing vitality and clarity to emerge more naturally.
Number of Visits
Some people may benefit from one to three focused sessions to gain clarity around a specific health concern, life transition, or decision point.
Others may choose to continue with ongoing sessions over several months, particularly when navigating more complex health journeys, burnout, or significant life transitions.
The pace and number of visits are always determined collaboratively, based on your needs, goals, and the type of support that will be most helpful for you.Telemedicine
All consults with your naturopathic doctor can be booked as telemedicine if preferred, unless a physical exam is indicated.
